Maureen Langlois is an interdisciplinary strategist and communicator specializing in helping teams win funding for impactful research, infrastructure, and programming ideas. In addition to working in the Research Development Office, Sustainability Institute, and Global Water Institute at The Ohio State University, she has worked in the private sector as a facilitator and grant consultant.
As a proposal development specialist and then associate director for Ohio State’s Research Development Office, she played a pivotal role in securing more than $80 million in funding from federal agencies NSF, DOE, NIH, NOAA, USDA and NASA.
She has a Master of Science from Ohio State in environmental science and bachelors degrees from Washington University in St. Louis in biology and philosophy. Her expertise spans various disciplines, including natural sciences, engineering, social science, medicine, humanities, and public health, making her an invaluable resource for teams spanning disciplines and sectors.
