Kari Swygart

Academic Advisor

Kari Swygart holds her B.A. in Psychology from The Ohio State University and M.S. in Clinical Psychology from Loyola University Maryland. She comes to the Chase Center with a background in both enrollment services and academic affairs. 

She began advising students in 2019 and has specialized experiences in pre-law, College Credit Plus, career, first year experience, international student, and transfer student advising. She fosters student success by implementing proactive strategies that help students stay on track to fulfill their educational goals. She advises students on university policy and procedures, program and degree requirements, and related academic matters, while also connecting them with information on a variety of campus resources including: academic, career, financial, psychological, wellness, and other resources as needed. 

She currently serves as the president-elect for the Academic Advising Association of Ohio State, a non-profit organization that functions to support and advocate for the academic advising community within the University.
