Prior to joining the Chase Center, Green was Professor of Law and Jamie L. Whitten Chair in Law and Government at the University of Mississippi School of Law where he has taught for the past 19 years. He has been visiting faculty at Princeton and the University of San Diego.
Green has an undergraduate degree in politics from Princeton, a law degree from Yale, and a PhD in philosophy from Notre Dame.
A leading constitutional law scholar, his research is primarily in the Fourteenth Amendment and constitutional theory, and he has been cited four times in opinions by justices of the U.S. Supreme Court.
