Frank Ngo

Before joining the Chase Center, Ngo taught cultural anthropology as an adjunct professor at Concordia University Irvine. He researches religion, secularity, value theories, and modernity. 

Ngo received his BA in Anthropology at the University of California, Berkeley, his MA in Global Studies at Sophia University in Japan, and his PhD in Social Anthropology at the University of Cambridge. 

His current project focuses on the role of social institutions such as politics and marriage in the pursuit of meaningful lives. He also maintains an active interest in Roman Catholicism in Asia.
