Wes Siscoe

Prior to joining the Chase Center, Siscoe was an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Bowling Green State University and the founder and Editor-in-Chief of The Philosophy Teaching Library. 

Siscoe earned his PhD from the University of Arizona, a master’s from Northern Illinois University, and an undergraduate degree from Olivet Nazarene University.

Siscoe’s research considers a wide range of issues in epistemology, political philosophy, and virtue ethics, and his work has been supported by a number of fellowships and grants totaling over $125,000. He is also an experienced teacher and pedagogy expert, having taught high school with Teach for America and worked with the Philosophy as a Way of Life Project at the University of Notre Dame.
