Paul Wilford

Associate Professor of Teaching

Prior to joining the Chase Center, Wilford was Assistant Professor of Political Science at Boston College, where he taught modern political philosophy with a focus on 19th and 20th century German philosophy. 

Wilford earned a PhD from Tulane University; a master’s and an undergraduate degree were both earned at King’s College. Wilford also earned an undergraduate degree from St. John’s College. 

Wilford has received teaching awards for student mentorship (from Boston College) and for civic education (from the Jack Miller Center). He has co-edited two collections of essays and published articles and chapters on a wide variety of themes spanning politics, philosophy, and theology.
