Itinerary for Oxford Global Education

Oxford, England

Oxford Civics Summer School

About

The Chase Center’s Oxford Civics Program immerses students in the Anglo-American tradition of civic thought and culture through a 10-day academic program modeled on the Oxford tutorial system. Participants engage in central questions of civic life through lectures delivered by distinguished Oxford faculty in history, law, political philosophy, and philosophy of religion.

Students live, study, and dine together in an authentic Oxford college setting, sharing in the rhythms of college life alongside current Oxford students. They have access to college libraries, dining halls, and other facilities, creating an environment that supports both intellectual development and civic formation. The program also includes guided learning experiences in some of Oxford’s most iconic settings, along with excursions to London and Bath to explore the institutions and ideas which have shaped Western civilization.
