About Classical Education

The Chase Center is committed to supporting classical and liberal arts schools in Ohio and across the nation. Over the next few years, we aim to become a national leader in classical education. We will offer teacher education and leadership programs, including credentialing and training; conduct and share research that provides practical guidance for teachers, school administrators, and policymakers; and serve as a convener, fostering communication and collaboration among classical educators in Ohio and across the country.

The Chase Center is developing programs to equip current and future educators and school leaders with theoretical grounding and practical skills to pursue excellence in K-12 classical educational settings. K-12 Education Research

The Chase Center’s staff and world-class faculty are conducting research to help classical schools thrive. This research will be of value to school leaders, teachers, families, and the broader communities that K-12 classical schools serve. We will make research available on this page, through research briefs and reports, and through public presentations and electronic communications. K-12 Convening

The Chase Center is building a network to facilitate communication and collaboration among classical educators. The heart of this effort is building and sharing a list of classical educators and holding events. The Chase Center launched this effort in August of 2025 when it held the first annual Ohio Classical Schools Conference.
